Recently I finished reading “Leaders Eat Last” by Simon Sinek. And here are my key takeaways.
- Create a safer place for employees to work (Everyone should feel like they are at home).
- Every employee should feel that they are working for something bigger than themselves-a higher goal.
- No abstraction between the company and for whom they serve.
- Employees must be treated well.
- People tend to work for someone who they think cares for them rather than someone who pays more.
- Courage to do right(not always going by the rulebook works).
- Should know when to break the rules.
- Should provide a perfect environment to work in so that maximum results can be yielded.
- The inner-circle should be safe so that they can compete with the outside environment.
- Abundance causes destruction.
- So goes the culture, so goes the company.
- So goes the leader, so goes the culture.
- Integrity matters, friends matter.
- People should be led, not the numbers.
- Get rid of your addictions, everything doesn’t come fast. Should have the patience to see the result.
- Instant success won’t last long.
- At the center of all our problems is us.
- Sharing struggles creates strong bonds.
